I have an offer off my total rewards for a enteries to a 240k slot tournament at rio July 12-17. I can't find any information about the tournament. I've never played in a slot tournament and I was wondering if anyone has any helpful information? I was also wonder how to find out if the tournament pays out cash or is it like free play for the casino? Also amount of player how it's ran? How long do you play? I called them and they said that the entery fee is 20 dollars but that seems to be pretty cheap for a 240k payout??? They said that the regerisation is going to be on July 13th and the tournament is played the next three days. I was just wondering if this comp is really worth come out to Vegas? I was only thinking of doing it to bring my mother out because she like slots

I don't know all the answer to your questions but hopefully it will help. I haven't been in any slot tournaments but been in 10+ CET tournaments (BJ, PGP, and baccarat). I did not know how many players there were until after registrations were over. As far as if the prize is cash or FP, I didn't find out until I got there too. From the details you provided, $20 does seem cheap. The payout sometimes is dependent on the amount of players. If not enough players show up, the payout get's dropped to a lower amount depending how many players there are. If you have a host, I would call first to find out more information about it before heading out there and then get disappointed.

you really asnswerd most of your questions in your post. the rules and payouts wont be know till regestration so it can be either or a combination.it changes all the times for each tourney.so theres no answer

number of people as many as they can get.

play is usualy 10 minutes on the old machines or 3 minutes on new machines or what ever they feel like.

see theres no answer to your questions till you get the rules at regestrations as every tourney is differnt sorry to say.

thats the best your going to get sorry and ive done a few cet tourney and there all differnt

Unless something has radically changed, $240K is the prize total for all the Summerfest events combined. It's usually daily tournaments and most people get free entries for two days do the actual max payout per day is low. Odds are the payout would be free play for all prizes. If this is the most appealing offer in your account, there's no harm in booking it but it's not worth making a special trip out for. The prizes are not significant enough.

Thanks for your time and info!!!

I do have a host guy. Idk why I have one lol I came out there last year once with friend and ended up getting platinum over night idk how I basically played all night long and lost about 3,000 and then won it all back the last 15 min before I went to my room for a nap. Then the next day we were lol on for show tickets the reward people said here you have a platinum card I was like ok. Then this guy emailed me saying I need to contact him for any reservations and such. He didn't have much info on the tournament. He said that it's two enteries and 5 night stay at any ceasers casino. I am thinking of bring my mother out there it's her birthday an staying at ceaser. The comp thing says its a 240k slot tournament. Not much else. I called the rio the lady didn't know much info. She said that registration is on July 13 and play July 14 11:00 am - 12:00 pm the another round at 5:00 pm then July 15 at 11:00 and the 16th at 11:00 and that's all I got. Doesn't know if it's free play or cash or how many enteries. I asked what the enters fee was she said 20 dollars but that doesn't make since for 240k prize... Also what is a person to do with like 240k of free play? Do they relly reward someone like thousands of dollars for free play?

Ok thanks. I was going to do this because my mother likes slot machines but doesn't seem worth playing for 3 min or 10 min of play. What do you do with 25,000 in free play? You any cash that out.

    Other offers

I have other offers like 3-5 night stays with like 150 resort credits and 150 reel or like 300 reel or 300 table. There is one with a visa gift card of 250 and 150 spa credits. What's the best bang for my buck? Just want my mother to have fun with slots last year she came out didn't have much luck. I was hoping she win something she doesn't get to go to Vegas often my father doesn't like to fly or gambling.
