As of today, this is coming up on my list on the rate calendar. However, on mine all the days are listed as OPTION.

Do any of you have it comped, or even see prices? Just curious.

It shows up as "OPTIONS" for me as well, when I click through it shows fully booked for all dates. Supposedly the hotel will be bookable by the general public on Oct 1, perhaps they are just getting it set up on the rate calendar now and you will be able to see comped rooms after that date.

I wonder if this will be considered a more premium room than Octavius. The rooms in Nobu Hotel are going to be small.

I'm not a high roller, will make platinum next trip for the first time. I hope that with the opening of more rooms it will make comps easier to come by for me.

Right now I have a forum tower room booked for my next trip Nov 24-28. Paying $124 for saturday and comped the other 3 nights.

Nobu will be the former Centurion tower correct? How do you know the rooms will be smaller than in the other towers? I can't imagine that to be the case, but I don't know the footprint of the rooms in that tower. Maybe they took out walls or and reconfigured the room size or something. If the rooms are smaller, I can't imagine the high rollers wanting them over Augustus or Octavius no matter how nice they are.

Nobu Hotel is the old Centurion tower, built in 1970, with 300-400 sq foot rooms. The pictures of the Nobu rooms look tiny, and based on the way the window takes up the entire back wall, they look to have the same footprint as the old rooms.

In any case, they are advertising 180 or 181 rooms, while Caesars has 3960. That means an increase of only about 5% to the room stock, which means it will not make comps easier in the other towers. (Typically, even the addition of a very large new tower does not make for easier comps anyway--just more difficult ones in the newest digs!)

As you say, though, the hotel is set up in the Total Rewards system which makes me believe that comped rooms will in fact be available to qualifying players. I was wondering if Nobu would be run separately from CP like 4 seasons is from Mandalay. This does not appear to be the case since Nobu is going to be integrated to the TR reservation system. I would guess that they will consider Nobu the premier tower, but as you say if the rooms are as small as I think they are, the premier players will not want to stay there.

Finally, I cannot imagine how the "private entrance to the boutique hotel" will be anything other than very awkward. Arriving guests will have to traipse through the entire casino no matter which entrance they use.

I will try to get answers to all of these questions this weekend when I am at CP, but I have a feeling there will be a lot of speculation, opinions, and dead wrong information until the place actually opens.

Thanks for your input, very insightful! I didn't realize there were already photos released. I will definitely google that!

I think they are just in the process of adding Nobu to reservations and prices should be out there pretty soon. It doesn't sound like the same management arrangement as Four Seasons so it should be available to comps. I don't think it would be considered their top tower. It was just a clever way to get rooms they tried not to rent back into regular circulation and most likely at a higher ADR than before. It should appeal to some of their comp customers who are interested in the immersion into Nobu over some of the traditional luxury features. I can't see a 7Star going for it but there are some players who like CP and don't necessarily care about the current Premier towers.

As for pricing, I expect that it will be really high. The question is how will it normalize in the spring. And I can't figure out the lobby part. I think I would rather check in at a special counter in the main lobby than go that far into the complex without my room key. But for just under 200 rooms, I would hope it would be manageable to get those customers steered to the right place.

They are saying that check in will be in your room with an Ipad--perhaps the bellman will just bring you straight from whatever entrance you use to the room, without stopping at any front desk anywhere.

Is this a new tower or just rooms labeled Nobu?

They remodeled the Centurion Tower and rebranded it as Nobu. It's supposed to be a boutique hotel in a behemoth hotel.

sounds like they're trying to compete with the Skylofts and Aria Sky Suites. will be interesting to hear how they did.
