I booked a room at the Orleans ( Boyd property) and it was a promo, so there was no resort fee. If, I had upgraded there would have been an extra charge and I accept that but then there would have been the dreaded resort fee. Seemed kind of strange to me. What I didn't know was that if you booked a promo no resort fee.. Wonder if all Boyd properties are that way ? Comments welcome.

More interesting....I went in February for the Super Bowl party and had comped rooms and did upgrade (for like 5.5 $ or 4.5 $ per night) and was suprised it was TAXED (the upgrade).....but there was no resort fee tacked on or I would have been SURPRISED !!.....this IS interesting and maybe others can chime in on Orleans or other Boyd props....
