I got a promo from the Gold Coast special room rates that do not include resort fee. The offer for the tournaments includes room with no resort fee. I asked why the difference but no one wanted to field that question. Probably because they couldn't defend the resort fee on the room promo when the tournament promo had none.

Sorry, but I can't follow this. If neither the promo nor the tournament offer adds a resort fee, how are they different?

GC had a $3 resort fee, but I believe it is $9.99 now, and that includes the internet. (same for Orleans)
It never is included on a players comp.

The resort fee is now $9.99 (yes it is sad) and the offer for the rooms is not the total price as there is the resort fee while the tournament offer is the total price (resort fee waived)..
