I have a car. What would be my best bet for movie theatres in the Vegas area? Where they have all the bells and whistles like best audio sound and video. IMAX 3D etc.

    Thanks

I like the theater at South Point; great projection and the place just smells like a movie theater should. However, I want to plug the Cinedome 12 in Henderson. It's a theater straight out of 1983 in every possible way, including prices. Nothing fancy and IMAX about this place; it's just a theater straight out of your childhood (or at least mine). It's retro in the most pleasurable and least obnoxious way.

I saw a movie at the Regal Cinemas at Red Rock last month. The theater was spotless. The seats were comfortable. The sound and picture were great. I assume that other Regal theaters in town are of the same quality.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the only IMAX theatre in Las Vegas is at the Palms.

Most of the theaters around me have all recliners. I'm spoiled, I love it. And reserved seats at no extra cost. Theaters have to work harder to get and keep customers since it's so nice to watch at home

I must say I've gotten very spoiled. I go to a theater with big powered recliners with great food and full bar. I go see a LOT of movies :woot:
