    Since this thread turned joking..
Does MVP mean Most Valuable Player or Most Violent Player.or Most Vain ..:rolleyes2:

Seriously though I don't think the books post any lines on that or performance stats like passing yards etc.until after the pre-season...

I'd say Arod is the lock at Valuable though at this point...Lets wait awhile for most Violent and lastly just give TB the nod for the latter...
    JK here fellas.. mayb.........

This is a bet you should just go ahead and fund by yourself and tell him he has action in Vegas.

I did that on the Kentucky Derby this year. My friend had Firing Line, closing odds at 9/1 and placed in a much closer race than my heart needed.

I need one more trip to up my frequent flier level

The Derby had about 18 or 19 horses in the field (IIRC)... the NFL has about 1600 players in the field.

For Flacco to win the MVP, about 1500 or so of those players would have to be on injured reserve for most of the season.

Not only is he not the best player (nor the most valuable) in the NFL, he's not even the most valuable player on his team (Dumervil).

Give him 10-1 odds and cap the bet at $1k.
