OK I had NEVER used my room comps that I received via email before, so I thought I would try it this time. Monte Carlo sent an email telling me I could have a complimentary stay in a Monte Carlo suite if I went on certain days. Super. When I called to ask, they told me only 1/2 of my days would be comp'ed by the offer and the rest would be at casino price. Is this normal or should I just get the vasoline ready any time I think about utilizing emailed room comps?

Not sure. Could be some fine print on that offer. Or could be a bait and switch. The offer gets you to call, but then the offer is no longer valid when you make the reservation. that's happened to me in the past, although usually with CET

Sometimes, there are limited amount of rooms at reduced/free rates. You might be hitting a peak date.

it sounds like it is one of two things.
    1. part of you trip is on blackout dates (like some offers are midweek stays only and you would have to pay for weekends or there is a special event they are blacked out for). But in my experience they have still comped it for me on the weekends too.
    2. The comp is for less nights than you booked for. Typically my comped rooms for mlife are for 1 night or 3 nights then a discounted rate for the remaining nights. (usually says it right out in the offer how many nights but it might be in the fine print). I'm guessing was most likely what happened.

also if you have an mlife account online they usually post the offers there as well along with all the fine print. If you have already accepted the offer than they may have already taken it off the website.

Thanks all who responded. I decided to go to a different casino that made a less beneficial offer but kept it to the exact word. Much appreciated!
