Looking into spending new years Eve in Vegas on the strip. Haven't ever been for new years eve but would love to do it at least once :) Saw where margaritaville had a party last year. Anybody have a review of that? Thinking about doing something like that so we have a place to be and with level 3 tickets 250/person we could watch fireworks from rooftop. Then maybe stay close by at like harrahs or flamingo. Advice and suggestions appreciated! :)

Standing out in the middle of the Strip watching the Fireworks is a fun experience. I've done it 3 times over the past several years and I love the cooler weather.
I can't answer your question because I've never done any NYE club/parties in Vegas. But watching some folks make fools of themselves is always good entertainment!

It does sound like fun but read some other comments about people pushing etc so wasnt sure about being down on the strip with everyone. Do they shoot off confetti at midnight? If going to be on the strip to watch whats the best time to go out there. We will be staying on strip.....probably harrahs/flamingo. Is it hard to get out of all the people when fireworks are over?

The last time I went we stayed at Monte Carlo and I'd say at about 11:20pm we walked outside and camped out in the middle of the Strip. We watched the fireworks and slowly made it back to the casino.
One time we stayed at Paris and they blocked off the Strip so people coming out of the casino were pushing from the rear so that got a little scary. We never made it out to the Strip that year and you could not
see any fireworks because it was the year of the Monte Carlo Fire and so they only shot the fireworks off from the parking structures and they didn't get high enough to see. Now once again they are shot from the rooftops.
