Just a fyi if you are flying SWA out of Vegas. Even if you are checking luggage, you must now go to the kiosks along the window to print your boarding pass, before they will allow you to get into the check bag line. They have new optical scanners once you get to the head of the line and you scan your boarding pass and select the number of bags you are checking. After that the procedure is the same, but you can't get in line w/o first printing the boarding pass.

I checked my bags curbside, had my boarding pass on my phone.
    Couldn't be any easier.

you got that right. Amazes me long the lines are inside. I'll gladly tip the guy 5 bucks for two bags to bypass that line. And then walk longer to the "other" tsa checkpoint for C gates.

I checked in there this morning with nothing like this. I did not have a boarding pass. I got in the regular line, they called me up to a kiosk when it opened up, I printed my boarding pass, and they called my name to check my bag. Business as usual. I did not see anyone using the kiosks by the windows.

As for using curbside, I missed a flight once because all of the people curbside were cruise ship travelers. Slow motion old people with huge amounts of luggage. When I finally went inside, the line moved much faster, and the agent told me not to ever use curbside during cruise season, that while the lines might be shorter, there are fewer agents, and more luggage. Of course LAS doesnt have to deal with cruise passengers like SEA does.
