I see when you click on the V (assuming you are 68+ with MGM finished) it says "Hey boss, we've applied for more permits and they're coming soon!". Curious if this is new or if it said this prior to the Excal2 update... not sure that I've checked it out before today.

Mine has always said that, for many weeks. I am guessing they are done with properties for quite awhile.

There were rumors that they may add Beau Rivage from Biloxi and/or Gold Strike from Tunica to the strip at one time, but I doubt that will really happen.

Personally, I think they should create a Wolfgang Puck property you can build since that is already in the game as a reward partner.

As for the question, my MGM has been built for months... it's said that for a long, long time.

IMO, they should make it more realistic by periodically requiring renovations to existing properties - and then increase the rewards that those properties spit out at collection time!

Maybe they will add the observation wheel, since they cannot seem to figure it out on the strip.
