    Someone did post this but i do think it looks cool.

    TBH i have only went to vegas once so do not remember it before and i hope to go back for my 40th (that is not for 5 years).

    If it is just dead open space that is not used then all the power to them. It is much better to have things to look at when walking by rather than the view that is in that area now.

    I actually walked past the area between NYNY and Monte Carlo saturday. Absolutely nothing there now so this seems like a great improvement.

    Interesting that Murren indicated that they are going to implement this concept at other MGM properties on the Strip. From what I understand, the next area in line will be a "Park" area in front of Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay. Considering there isn't a lot of stuff in the front of these properties, could be interesting to see the execution of the concept there.

    As I spend most of my time south strip, I'm excited about the changes. Walking around south has been pretty boring, these changes should make it much nicer. About time too.
