I started playing on my laptop a few months ago. I was doing ok, built a
bunch of properties, got up to level 24. But the laptop is old and very slow
so when the game was available on the iPad I started playing on that.

My loyalty points did transfer over so that's good, but I have not
seen where I would build any properties. I only got up to level 10 -
    Is that why?
Is this just the way it is? When I go to my strip I have spots
with the stars that I guess I should complete?

Sorry if this is confusing, you can tell I have no clue.

I've noticed the mobile version is way different that the desktop version. I only played it a little bit and hated it so I deleted it off my phone.

The mobile version and the desktop version are 2 different games. Your LP's transfer over but that's it. You'll have to level up and gain chips separately. I'm not really a fan of this method but it does allow you to play both versions at the same time and earn points twice as fast.

The premise is different also. Instead of building the strip, you're just traveling along it in the mobile version. You'll move along the strip by completing the challenges at each stop.

Personally I wish the mobile version and the desktop version were the same game. I'd rather play on my ipad but I have more chips on the desktop version and seem to go broke there a little less frequently. Probably because it's a lot easier to "collect" chips.

Thank you both. I guess I'll just play on both and see what
    happens.

Hey Josh, there is an app that allows you to play the Facebook game on your iPhone or iPad. I's called "Photon Flash Player". I think it costs about $5 though.

I use this on my ipad and it works great. I would recomend it if you like the desktop version.

Yea you share LPs, but the games are different. I like the mobile one! It's cool to have it wherever I want. The Facebook one works on my computer but it's so clunky and slow.

I appreciate the advice! I was aware of the browser. I've never tried it but maybe I should because it would come in handy on occasion.
