I'm deciding whether to take a tour during the day or at night. Is it worth it to pay more and take the night tour when the signs are lit up? Are you allowed to take photos too?

    thanks for any info...

We have been there and really enjoyed seeing the old neon signs. We were there during the day. I didn't know there was a night time tour. Perhaps when we were there in April of 2013 there wasn't that option. We took tons of pictures. I was under the impression that the signs that have been refurbished and light up are on display on the street median between the museum and Fremont Street. I don't think that the ones in the boneyard are operational. Some of them were in pretty rough shape. I would highly recommend this museum. The tour guides were excellent and the signs were fun to see.
