I went to the Neon Boneyard last week. Highly recommended. We got the combined Mob Museum ticket as well for $30 and it's well worth it.

One interesting fact I was informed of is that any business opening in downtown Vegas has to use neon in its sign (it may be slightly more complicated than that I guess).

Here are some pictures I took there - hopefully everyone can see these.

Oops! Can a mod move this please, it was meant to be in misc vegas chat. Reading fail here!

Great pictures there, thanks for sharing. Loving the free aspirin sign!

How long was the boneyard tour?

It's an hour. Goes really quickly. I'd recommend a daytime one as they only have a few working signs in the boneyard and the lighting that comes on after dark doesn't look very substantial.

The free aspirin sign...apparently they were giving away 4,000 free aspirin a month at that place.

The pool player was welded by a friend of my dad's here in Billings. Linden Pomeroy. He made them for the Doc and Eddy's pool halls. He did 3 of them, 1 in Reno, 1 in LV and the other stayed in Billings. The one that stayed here, is now at a garden center, they welded it a hat and put a blade on the pool stick to make it look like a hoe.
