This Saturday we will be at the Rod Stewart concert at Caesars. We also happen to be staying there that night. Saturday is our arrival day and that means that when the show ends around 9:30, it will feel like 11:30 to us. We will probably need to have a bite to eat before we call it a night. Not really looking for an expensive full course restaurant. I don't want to be hitting the wall and falling asleep before the food arrives. A place that has good appetizers or sandwiches would be good. We won't have a car but don't mind walking a little bit. Waiting to hear your suggestions and if you think we will need to make reservations before we arrive in Vegas.

Why in the world would anyone even thing to eat anywhere except at Caesars after that day?

Buffet or Food Court at Caesars are not bad at all.
There are some other fast food options at Caesars... one somewhat new one near the Blackjack Party Pit
And the "pub" by whats his name
and the restaurant right off the lobby

Pub at CP is Gordon Ramsey Pub.
Diner near lobby is Central pronounced "sen-TRAHL."

If you go to Carnegie Deli before going to bed, reminder that one sandwich can feed two comfortably.

Central will be closing any day now, if it hasn't already.

We always enjoy Joe's Seafood, Steak, and Stone Crab after shows. It is a short walk through the Forum Shops after the show. They have a good selection of appetizers and bar food/ sandwiches as well as full meals. You would need a reservation even at 9:30. The menu can be seen on their website. Sorry, I don't know how to post a link.

If you don't mind going off strip a bit.. Near rio.. Spring valley? There's a Thai place called Krung Siam. It's a must go every single trip. Great atmosphere. Great service. And affordable. Love it

I would suggest staying at Caesars. There are a lot of restaurants to chose from at the hotel and in the mall. Why waste time going somewhere else as it will be late already for you.
