Hello fellow Vegas addicts. DH and I are heading out to our happy place 6/29-7/4. I can get Paris comped (among various other CET props) for the whole stay and only have to pay resort fees.

My dilemma is I prefer MLife properties/casinos. I was looking at the Monte Carlo but I've never been there. Which MLife property would y'all recommend based on our wants?

    Wants:
    Nice pool complex
Cheap eats in the hotel (food court, $20 per person quickie meals)
Nice clean room and bathroom nothing too outdated looking

Or should I suck it up and take the comp? :p

Personally I'd rather stay at MGM than MC but that's me. MC is great for location. But if costs were similar I'd go with MGM.

Based on your overall criteria, MGM.

There are cheap eats across LV Blvd from Mandalay Bay (as well as 5 minute walk to Luxor).

I would also pick MGM based on your criteria.

Personally I would take the comp and enjoy the pool there.

If not Aria then MGM in that order are my choices due to the rooms then pools then Monte Carlo.

You can take the tram or walk to Monte Carlo if you need cheap eats.

Thank you for the suggestions! We stayed at MGM last year and enjoyed it! Today we narrowed it to MGM or Aria. I ended up getting a deluxe Aria room for $79 a night so we booked that.

    Thank you again :)

Take the Paris comp. For cheap eats, there is a food court by the Bally's food court. Not to mention Ellis Island only being a short walk away.

Take the comp, then take the money you save on the room and blow it at the MGM property you will want to stay at in the future.

Anytime you can get Aria for that price is great. Most comfy bed on strip. Love everything about Aria. Make sure to request turn down service! It's free (leave a tip though).

Thanks for that tip! I'll have to jot that down in my notes.

The walk from Aria to MC isn't bad...you said you were looking for cheap eats...MC has the food court before you get to the casino. It took us a couple years to dare to leave the comfort of upfront rooms with CET and switch over to mlife properties. Everything you read is true...the hotels are better quality. We are not high rollers but have managed to get our rooms/resort fees totally or at least half comped the past 2 trips. We are slot players, not sure what your gaming choices are. Aria reg room over Paris reg room is a big leap upward. That being said I have nothing against Paris, it is one of my fav CET props. I know everyone told you MGM...but FWIW ever since the redo when I check MGMs prices they are sky high....maybe those suggesting are there on offers. No matter the month I look I have found MGM to always be very high now.

    I like the MGM Signature

Fridge, microwave, stove, utensils and dishes. And it's not that expensive. You can take your leftovers and eat them later, which saves you money.

MGM would be my choice, they have a large food court, good pool, updated rooms (updated everything!!).

Paris is ok... can you get a Red Room? I might go for that just to save the money, but not the regular room.

+1 with MGM unless you're able to get Aria for a similar price. As someone else mentioned, it's not a long walk from Aria to MC since they're connected by a walkway and escalator. The food court at MC is towards Aria's side as well, so no need to walk to the other side of the property.
