    Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to post here to possibly get some help from all you veterans of Vegas.

I personally never really party in Vegas or really know how to have fun. I am planning to celebrate my birthday for the very first time in May without my family. My birthday always landed on Mother's Day, so it was impossible to get away the week of Mother's day or the following week. I finally get that opportunity so I want to have fun.

I am stuck on which hotel to choose for that has room and that can fit about 11+ people. Here are my current options...

    Aria - 2 bedroom Penthouse
    Bellagio - 2 bedroom Penthouse
    Cosmopolitan - Wraparound Suite
    Caesar - Hakone Suite

I believe those are the options that are available the weekend I am looking at. I have no host, but I am a rewards member before the highest tier. I am looking to possible choose the one that has carpet flooring for friends to sleep? Also possibly a connector for a couple that is coming as well?

I was looking at possibly.. I was tempted to book the Cosmopolitan West End Penthouse, but I realize we would be out of the hotel all the time having fun.

Any thoughts and ideas? I am open to possibly other hotels that are on the strip as well? Options are limited for May 15th weekend. Hope to get some help or feedback. Thanks.

You mentioned hotels that are part of three different brands. Are you the second from top tier at each of those brands? Platinum with Mlife, Diamond with CET, Gold with Cosmo? If not I would stay at a brand you have a status at. If you aren't worried about comps for the room, food, etc. I would check out Elara. They have cool suites with tons of space and a cool set up in a living room for a party.

For a party, all of those easily accommodate 11+ people. If you're all planning to crash there, that's not a good plan, lol. For a party that size, I would probably go with the Cosmo wraparound suite. I like the big balcony and there is lots of space. Plus, with the others, you would have to go downstairs and ferry people up the elevator if they do not have a key

Yes, I am second highest for all those tiers. Yeah, I thought about staying with the reward hotels, but I am open to anything really.

Thank you for the Elara, it looks amazing. Would definitely look into it. I looked into the wraparound suite, and it looks amazing. Very tempted on that one.

I second Cosmo. Love it there! Though any of those rooms would suite your needs.

You can't go wrong with any of these choices, I wish these were MY choices :) I guess if forced to choose I'd also take the Cosmo.

Your post caught my attention. The most important space you need to be concerned with is your headspace. Fun is a state of mind. You can have fun anywhere/everywhere/anytime. Practice laughing with funny youtube videos and movies and tv shows. 15 minutes of good chuckles and belly laughs every single day. It's medicine. By the time you get to Vegas you'll be ready to fully celebrate your birthday, no matter where you stay. Good luck. I wish you the happiest birthday you ever had.

I did an Elara 2-Bedroom suite once for a bachelor party with 6 or 7 people. I know they also have 3 and 4 Bedroom suites as well. It worked great BUT I wouldn't do it again as it is a bit of a walk from the action on the strip and I'm not fond of that particular location on the strip to begin with.

I don't know what kind of group you are working with, but I'd consider 1 Bedroom Suite (like a real one, not a standard "suite") at Venetian and then have members of your party grab 2 or 3 other standard rooms and use the Suite as the gathering place. I did this as well on ANOTHER bachelor party and it was great but I'm biased towards that part of the strip to begin with.

I would also consider that Mirage has a suite called the "Hospitality Suite" that is specifically designed to accommodate large gatherings. They can be had with up to 2 Bedrooms (1 Room + 1 Connector).

You might overestimate the necessity of having everyone in one room or in a connected suite. I'm here to tell you right now that it just doesn't matter that much in reality. The entire strip is one giant party bar so it's not like you are going to spend THAT much time in the room to the point that you all need to sleep together in it.
