    Hi all,

I normally stay on the Strip (V/P, or CET properties) but for this trip over Thanksgiving weekend, my friend and I are meeting up with some of my cousins and they are all staying downtown. The last time we did this I stayed on the Strip and tried to hook up with everyone downtown...but that was just a fiasco, so I have made the decision to stay Downtown this time. Some of the cousins are staying at the D, some at 4Qs. I did try the GN for one night a few years ago, but I'm not sure.

So where do you all advise? I'm a Gold member at V/P and Diamond at CET, so my hope is to get the rooms comped on the backend, but if you know of any good hosts that might be willing to upfront some nights that would even be better!

    Thanks for the help

Well there is Curt, a host at the Plaza on here. You may want contact him and see if he can match a CET offer you have.

He is very receptive to answering questions. You can find him in many of the plaza threads.

I got a night back end at Fremont, and I am just gold at CET.

Ditto. I've met Curt and he is a very nice person and he'll be glad to work with you.

As an aside, the Plaza has a pretty good sized sports book for watching all the rivalry football games that weekend.

I just got back from an eight day downtown stay and the Plaza has really improved a lot in the last couple of years. It was nice to see the casino vibe has picked up and they had some very decent BJ games.
