We will be checking into the Fremont about 11PM on a Monday night. We expect to earn enough comps to have our modest meals taken care of at check out. So we need a place we can charge to our Fremont room at around that time. I was thinking the Cafe at the Cal though sometimes there are lines there for the late-night specials.
    Any other suggestions?
How about room service. Can we charge it to the room and does Fremont even have room service?

The 2 suggestions (Market St. Café at the Cal and 777 at MSS) should be fine for you and you should be able to charge your bill to your room. Fremont has a lanai express but I'm not sure if you can charge your bill to your room. This lanai is more of a fast food take out joint IMHO.

You should be okay on a Monday night. Vacations Hawaii doesn't have a charter which arrives on Monday night so there shouldn't be too long a line at the Cal Market St. Café. Usually there are vacations Hawaii charters which arrive at night (around 10 or so). When they arrive guests check in, get their room key card and go down to the café to have dinner (their luggage doesn't arrive for an hour or two so they go eat or gamble to kill time), causing long lines at the cafe. Luckily there aren't any flights coming in on Monday night so you shouldn't encounter the long lines you see on other nights. Vacations Hawaii (and other agencies) does offer special charter packages (some are 7 nighters) so it's possible that they could be coming in on Monday's but these aren't a weekly thing.

Thanks for that information. We've run into that crowd of Hawaiian's at 11PM a few times and always thought is was because of the daily late night specials. Now we know the story behind the story. :nworthy:
