Not sure where we want to eat tonight but I know we want steak. We have done the whole high end steakhouse thing several times and are looking for more of a casual atmosphere than a craft steak or Ramsay's type place but don't want to eat boot leather. Think outback like but not actually outback.

Where are you? That will help us make viable suggestions. Price point?

Steak and eggs at Henry cafe Cosmo. 38 bucks for a nice 12-14 oz ny steak with eggs, bread, potatoes that can be swiped with veggies

    I'm guessing on the weight

Ellis Island, for sure, if you're in the area. A vocal minority will disagree, but I love it. It's not the best steak you'll ever have, but in my experience almost always quite tasty and the beans are tasty too, and you get a beer. And it's $9.

Otherwise, in some other thread, someone once posted that they had a delicious steak at, of all places, Planet Dailies in Planet Hollywood. This intrigues me, and if you're not up for EI might be a good option.
