Need camera advice

    For those dark/night shots are you using a tripod or still holding the camera in your hands?

    All the photos in the trip report I ended this weekend were shot with an IPhone 5 using TapaTalk to upload through out the trip. Works great for a live trip report and the quality meets most of my needs. I download to my computer when I get home. Can't imagine printing wall pictures from any of the Vegas photos, even if the quality was better.

    I have an antique Canon so may follow the advice to upgrade to a G16 for other trips.
