Looking to book for next week. I am hoping to stay downtown for the first time. Would like to have a King smoking with a Fridge... any thoughts? Fridges are hard to find it seems? Called the Nugget and the rooms with fridges there are not smoking.

Do they have entrances that are right on Fremont?

The D Corner King rooms have fridges and are available as smoking rooms.

You can request one be delivered to your room at The D. At least that's what I'm doing next trip.

Cal is 1 block from Fremont and easy cut through Binions. MSS through Cal or walk 1 block. There is no resort fee at mss cal fremont and 4Q's. There is also an SDX bus stop to strip at Cal Main and Ogden and and return at 1st and Ogden.

No but you are close either way.

We had a room with a fridge once at Fremont, was called a suite but really not.

If a fridge is for medical necessity any hotel should be able to get you 1.

I was really disappointed in the D checkin where the clerk was pressuring me to upgrade to corner room bc of medically needing a frig. I declined the upgrade which was 50% of the room cost, and took my chances that housekeeping would have a frig available for me. The clerk even said "because you want a frig" to which I answered, no I medically need one.
