Those pics and video at the new HL slot room at the Cosmo. Much better than the old room in my opinion.

Thanks. Can't wait to visit it. I'm giving Mlife one last chance since they seem to have a stick up their ass. Last trip I gave cosmo 4 hours of play and got comped rooms and fb credit but Ive been with Mlife since my first trip. Will definetley do one whole day at cosmo next month. good luck! :)

    Nate,

You are due to pop a big win. Stay positive and aggressive!

I have a good feeling about this trip for you, as in 7-8 figure win.

So had breakfast at Henry's this morning at Cosmo around 7am. Place was pretty empty except for some Brazilian/French dude yelling at a game at the bar.

Since the skating rink opens at noon, dropped the kids off with the tv babysitter and went to Talon.

Started with Baccarat, mostly choppy shoes so couldn't get anything going. This is when my strategy of going small ball testing work out (I get shit sometimes from you know who out there for not betting heavy right out of the gate). I end up losing only 15k when I know for a few people with 20k avg bets out there would have lost 200k.

Decided to go to the double deck BJ and try my luck there. Here's where the small ball bites me in the ass since after a few back and forth decks I get a pretty good deck and make back my 15k and change.

The dealer made about 1k on quarter bets for them and I made exacty 400 bucks for the day lol.

Not complaining...now waiting for the rink to open after an appointment at the airport...

For the gift cards or Bruno Mars dilemma, I'm choosing gift cards after bribing the kids with half my gift cards. They still get to go to the Wynn party.

I believe the gift card rule is 1% of bank roll up front, then 1% when you hit 1/2 your theo, then 1% when you hit it all. So potential of 30k for me on 1m (500k fm and 500k line) but I can always walk with 10k if I don't feel like playing to the full theo. After this calculation I can sort of see how MGM sees me as unprofitable since I try and maximize things, but that's how I am in the business world so hard to break that habit .

Please make the Wynn pay. I was forced to watch Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 last night and the majority of the filming took place at the Wynn. I lost 2 hours of my life last night and I blame the Wynn.

I say they are nutts not to give you what you want. Front money rebate, loss rebate, airplane tickets rebate 20k in room, food and beverage comps and who knows what else they are still coming out wayyy ahead over many trips. Not to mention the other players you bring in and so on. They should bend over backwards for your business. That being said yes I understand where they are coming from but don't like it. They should work on volume. Potential 4 trips a year give or take they are losing out on.

When are you planning to go?

Good luck Nate. I'm still seeing if I can go. You know I'd be on the plane now if not for the home issue.

Well I'm gonna be there for the CES show, but might come a little earlier. Still haven't decided. Tickets sure are expensive though.....

Good decision and with a 30 k gift car nothing is stopping you from buying 8 tickets a 1000$ each and still have 22K for fun
