    My Trip Report

Since it is past midnight on 3/12 in Taiwan, I've decided to post the start of my TR. I'm taking a late flight tonight and will arrive late PM on 3/12 at LAX. They are sending a Mercedes minibus to pick up our group (since it is quite large this time) at LAX and transport us to Vegas.

Taking a page out of Beeejay's comp yourself strategy, and my *usual* conservative ways :licklips: , no private jet going in this time, as I will feel obligated to play to 250k theo at Wynn. I rather stop when I want to stop.

Wynn has a poker tournament this weekend, a 1.5m invitational. Since I won (split 4-ways) the tournament last month, I feel that I should show up and see if I can win again.

I've decided to take a few friends to the Cosmo this time, since I'm trying to gather a group of them away from the MGM (I like to play with friends at the same casino and I can't bring myself to go there anytime soon, no matter the enticing free tournaments they throw at me).

Palazzo, after my super fast lost of 1m in about 2 hours, has decided to finally join the other casinos in upping my line to 3m. They also threw in a 20k shopping spree, no play necessary.

    Limits
Wynn 500k FM, 2.5m line, Bac 175k, Roulette 2k progressive, BJ 30k (low I know but I haven't played much BJ at the Wynn), Craps double limits

Cosmo 500k FM, 500k line, Bac 70k, Roulette 1k progressive, BJ 30k, Craps normal limits

Palazzo no FM, 3m line, Bac 175k, Roulette 2k anyway, 1k progressive, BJ 30k, Craps double limits

    Characters

Me : Natedog, methodical gambler usually, but tilts easily and super superstitious

CKW : 500k Baccarat player, plays a 5k, 10k, 20k progression system (increases after 3 wins or so), takes forever to squeeze cards

KH : 100k line, crazy gambler that ranges between 100 - 5k. Always leaves up though. Had some crazy long craps rolls.

Mr. T : 100k Natedog's exec asst for last 15 years, likes to gamble small, usually acts as CKW's warden...get's 20% if CKW goes over his limit for the day. Wife punishes him if he loses over 10k.

JC : 100k line, youngest guy (32) in the group, banker type, true degenerate gambler, usually leaves the casino sans cab fare. His normal demeanor is manic and on tilt.

Some guys will be coming in and out, one of JC's friends, and Dr. J.

I had thought of some sort of system before, but decided against it since it would limit my enjoyment too much...just going to play like before and hope for the best

At the Cosmo thanks to whoever told me about the West Tower Penthouses...going to try those this time.

It will be fun to have a group of guys take over a full bac table, craps table, or whatever table. It is rare since I usually gamble solo. Maybe we will hit a strip club too, but only if we are running bad and need luck changing.

We are going to think of some systems between us, since I believe in betting all on one side, that's why I don't like playing BJ with other people since some people lose and some people win. So if somebody has conviction on a baccarat side we all bet with him or sit out.

Attached pics are the gold plate made this time, weighs 8.88 Taiwanese liang (don't know the conversion) but 1 kilo is about 26 liang. I had bought this and 1 kilo to celebrate last month's win.

As you can see, it is the first roulette plate, hopefully first of many.
On the back is Tiger in Ancient Chinese form (I was born in year of Tiger, am 38)

Nate, cannot wait to read more! But also thoroughly disappointed that I will be missing you by a day! A buddy and I arrive the evening of the 20th. But reading this will inspire me to try writing a gambling centric live TR from my warmup trip to Tunica this weekend. Have a blast!

I'm hooked Natedog TRs AND now the Jodi Arius trial. How am I going to get anything done at work? Good thing there is no testimony until Weds.

    Bon Chance!

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in!

Is anyone else in your group planning to join you in roulette? Or are they not yet addicted to that drug?

New here too, but after that last TR I'm hooked. Arriving in Vegas on the 20th, just hoping Nate leaves some for the rest of us to win. I blame my inevitable tilts on this upcoming trip purely on reading Nate's incredible complete bets.:nworthy:

Looking forward to a week of crazy TR's to prep for the annual MM trip. Good Luck!

I think BeeJay may have just stroked out after seeing the new plate.

    Good luck Nate.

Leave a few greenbacks for the rest of us to win later in the month.

HA! Good to see you again! You are the trip report I most remember, too fun! If CR (?) leaves the casino without cab fare, he may want to take a piece of advice I was given by my elders. They told me when I park my car at the airport leave the parking money under the seat, that way when I come home broke I can at least get my car home! Maybe you guys should hide cab fare somewhere on his body and at the end of the night he can spend 30 minutes gropping himself to find it! Keep posting and go get em!!!

What we do is I actually tell the host to cut his line off after we confiscated his 20% win when he was up 50%. That worked at RW Manila...he actually got out with a 20% win after blowing the rest. Now if only the host will listen to somebody else and cut me off....
