Quick rundown on my trip last month. My brother and I both redeemed rewards and combined them so that we could maximize our free fun.

    $150 At Circus Circus Steakhouse:

This was great. We had 3 in our party and with a few beers, king crab appetizer and 3 big hunks of beef, it came out to 200 bucks or so. Service was excellent and everything was delicious. Unlike other steakhouses in Vegas the menu is not really 'a la carte'. Meaning when you order the steak, you get a salad or soup, bread, and your choice of side. This was quite refreshing and every bit was delectable. I would come back here again even without a coupon/comp.

    $100 + $75 at 9 Fine Irishmen/NYNY:

Had 6 of us in the area so figured a free lunch for all would be pretty awesome. We had the banger appetizer and a round of guinness to start. Never had them before, but they were fried up sausages and were delicious. They were quite heavy though and took away a good hunk of our appetite. I had the Beef Tip sandwich and it was on the small side, but that didn't matter after the app. It was tasty. One in our party got the Mac n cheese. We all pretty much agreed that it was the best m+c we had ever tasted. This was a cool restaurant, and despite there being 6 of us the bill only totaled to $140. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry and did not press the issue.

    Bellagio Lunch Buffet:

I was pretty pumped for this, but to be honest I was a little disappointed. Was really hoping to see a massive selection of food like I have never seen before, but it was pretty simple. I understand that it was lunch so therefore a lighter array of food. However, I was expecting more in the way of delicious meats. They did have a flank steak being carved up and it was very rare and very tasty. I also wanted to try some different sushi options but they only had one type of roll.

Lots of fish dishes, but that is not really my cup of tea. It was good but not great in my opinion but for free... it was awesome. If I did it again, I would try the trick to get there just before dinner.

Luxor 1 night Tower room comp:

We used this the last night of our trip and were not disappointed. We did not have to pay a resort fee or deposit(Had to ask to waive incidentals). Room was clean, spacious enough and pretty much what I had expected since I have stayed there before. The Luxor gets a bad rap sometimes but I have stayed there for a total of 5 or 6 nights over the last 2 years and have never had a problem. The price is usually right and it has a great location. No hassle at all when checking in with the reward.

Mirage 2 night Tower Suite(When it was 90k gold chips):

We used this on a Sunday and Monday night. I usually try to get a free upgrade at check-in but did not see the point with this awesome room already in the bag. There was an Avon or Mary Kay convention going on there that weekend so the check in line was about 400 middle to late-aged women deep. When I checked in the lady asked for my deposit and said she had a tower suite for 2 nights for me. I agreed... then she gave me another look and said that she was going to move me to the Penthouse!!!! All I could say was thanks! I must have been having a good hair day... or probably she just could read the dejection on my face after losing 100 bucks across the street at Casino Royale in less time than it took to get my first drink order. The suite was ridiculous. Bathroom HDTV, 37" TV that pops up out of the foot of the bed, nice bar stocked with ice and various bar tools. Living room TV was huge and had a nice sound bar with subwoofer attached. Robes, slippers, free Fiji water and the most amazing 55th floor view. We like to mix drinks in the room and jam out while watching the Strip sometimes. I made sure I tipped her after that. This was the most amazing room I have ever stayed in, and the room was probably bigger than my house.

    --------------

The trip was awesome and I am already trying to gather as many gold chips as I can before the next trip in December. If they announce that they are scrapping myVegas, then I will redeem what I have and go whenever I can. Even though they are changing things around and making certain things harder to get, I still think this is a great deal and will allow folks with a budget similar to mine(low), to experience some new things and build a bit of loyalty to mLife/MGM properties. Sorry this was long, but thought it would help the people considering these rewards.

Thanks for the update! Sounds like MyVegas is the real deal.
I sure wish I would have been hanging around here sooner to realize what I've been missing.
I jumped on MyVegas just recently and hope I have time to earn something worthwhile before my June trip. That Steakhouse sure sounds good!

I felt the same way about Bellagio dinner, and I got it by using my express comps.

Thanks for the update...4 weeks for me for the Mirage Tower Suite (4 nights 2 me and 2 hubby), we have the CC Steakhouse one too and the Bellagio lunch Buffet. As long as the lunch buffet has my creme brulee I don't care what they have for meats ;) Still haven't redeemed our last 2 rewards yet. We still have 2 rewards left and can't decide what I want to use them for yet.
