Well I know everybody is going to say it is just a computer game. But when you lose 23 out of 25 hands you play on this game and it happens to you two days in a row. Pretty frustrating. Odd how many times the computer gets 21. That don't happen to me in Vegas. It gets pretty old after awhile losing your chips over and over to five card draws. I will chalk it up to things that make you hmmmm. When I burn my points up I am through with this game.

This comes up from time to time, I'll probably get flamed for this but the game is fair. I suspected something similar and took a test 2 years ago. Sadly I've lost the file but I played 5000 hands (Yes, I know it's still a small sample size) and kept track of various things. Player BJs v. Dealer BJs, face card 10, next card 10 for both player and dealer. Overall hands won/ties/lost etc, I think there were 7 different subjects. I was absolutely shocked to see the results, everything lined up perfectly. I think there was only one deviation that was over 2% and that was in my favor. Rest of them pretty much stayed within 0.5-1%.

I know it feels ridiculous but what most don't take in to consideration is that you play hundreds, if not thousands hands more than you would in a real casino. Thus you're more likely, or rather inevitably, going to encounter some pretty bizarre coolers. The game developers have also said it's fair but I won't force anyone to believe me or them but there's my 2 cents.

Lol....I wish the game still played the way it did 2 years ago. I agree with Paul, its crazy with the 5 card draws (or more) of the dealer to get 20 or 21. It does get very frustrating when you KNOW a 17 is pretty much as useless as standing on 5 and you get pushed on 20 and 21. LOL, I really enjoy getting dealt a 20 vs dealer showing a crap card. finally, after getting dealt numerous "crap" hands in a row (13, 14, etc and busting on all of them) and then the dealer ends up with 21.
The facebook version has been "tweaked" and the mobile version, right out of the gate, was heavily programmed to be "dealer friendly". Thats not to say that if you bet some cheesy little bets to try to accomplish a challenge (like getting dealt 78 blackjacks) that it won't oblige you some wins, but God forbid you pull out the big guns and make some real bets ;)

The sample in itself will never be accurate to that of real life. While technically real life blackjack strategy should be applied to MyVegas, it is never really the case. You can play the best strategy possible and still come out down $100,000. The most effective thing I can recommend is doing whatever the hell you feel like doing. That includes hitting on numbers you don't usually hit or doubling on 10's.

MyVegas BJ is either close to expectation or even above expectation for me. Won almost 2M red chips last night at bettng near the max for two hours. If only i ran like this on a real casino game. This bring said, I've had a handful of negative 2M swings maxing out the 2000 LP collected via play too. One thing is for sure though, it's a much better LP value than slots.

I used to get 500,000 or more on the daily box. Now I get, max, is 150,000. I could take that 500,000 and build it to 10,000,000 in no time flat. I actually had it built up to 50M at one point. Now, I'm lucky if the 150,000 lasts 10 minutes.

They've rolled back the daily boxes BIG time. I used to get 5-600K or at least 100 LPs, usually way more. Now, I get 50 LPs (I get 60 in the 4-hour bonus) and either 150 or 300K in chips. The really big drag is how they've cut back the level up bonuses. Of course, long gone is LPs, but at least there was some change in coins given. Then it was 650K for every level up. Then every five level ups. Now it's 480K for every five level ups. Zero incentive if you're giving me over half that, on average, in my daily box. I'm only focusing on challenges to earn LPs. I'm pretty much wrapping this up now anyway, so the changes are less annoying.

The last 2 days I have received 650k on my daily pick. And today with little effort, I was able to build up to 4 million.

What level are you? I used to regularly get 650k in my daily box but for whatever reason they dialed it back to 400k several weeks ago. (FWIW I'm stuck on level 500 until they update it with higher levels)

I am only at level 181. My daily bonus was dialed back as well. But 2 days ago it went back up. The past couple of weeks I would get 50k max. Before that I was getting 650k.

It sounds to me like you guys are playing the MyVegas Blackjack mobile app - which I just started a couple weeks ago. I have been playing the facebook game for a couple years - but just added the mobile app and I do think the blackjack version on there is much easier to play than the facebook version. But I have a couple of questions from a new player:

I have played almost entirely on the single deck game and nearly all of that on the first link - "MGM". What is the difference in the "progressive" six-deck game - I think I read something about a side bet on Aces?

Within the single-deck or other games Is there a reason to move on to the other links after MGM. I opened the Excalibur and Mirage ones on the single-deck version and it looked like they just added a side bet that did not seem worthwhile - in fact the one on the Mirage game struck me at least initially as a very bad bet, could not see why anyone would play that one although I have not "researched" it to see the house advantage.

Anyway - bottom line question - is it worthwhile to go through these other versions or am I just as well off sticking to the basic MGM single-deck game?

As you move on and open more properties, you get LP's for opening them.

For example, On the single deck I am on Circus Circus. I have 14/100 cards. When I get the 100 cards it will open Luxor and I get 3,000 LP's for opening it.

And the same goes for the other games too.

The six-deck games do feature a progressive jackpot - the jackpot criteria varies from room to room but if you touch the question mark in the side-bet circle it'll explain what you're looking for.

I don't think there is any disadvantage to just staying with the MGM room on the single deck level. There are LP bonuses for unlocking new rooms, but I'm pretty sure those are all offered at the same clip just on a larger scale (e.g. you get 150 LP from MGM for acquiring 10 collectibles, while getting 200 collectibles from Luxor gets you 3,000 LP - either way you get 15 LP per collectible, it just takes you longer to receive them if you advance in rooms). I prefer playing single deck at MGM for that reason.

Well I started this thread griping about losing and the odd number of times the dealer gets 21. On the mobile version a few nights ago 25000 chips turned into 2.4 million then went back down the nothing. I never bet more than 40000 a hand. I gained 10000lp in that two hour run with the unlocking of the different games. So sometimes it evens out. The dealer still gets too many cards to draw to 21.

It appears to me that you get more LP's the first time through at each location/deck when you open up the next one. Working on Aria now and getting to 60 collectibles there will open the next one and get 2,000 LP's. After that I think you are right the ratios stay the same 10 collectibles = 150 LP's. At least that is the way it appears to me just getting started.

Can anyone comment on whether the collectible cards come faster if you bet more - or do collect them just as fast regardless of the amount bet per hand?

For me the collectable cards do come quicker if you are betting more. Sometimes though you get them and you get a losing hand no matter what move you make. That usually happens when I first start playing for the day. Also seems the longer you play for that session then the collectable cards really start coming. Then when you start again the next day it takes a bit of playing again to get them really coming.

Has anyone else never received chips from the daily gift box? Since the switch to the gift box, I have only ever gotten collectibles and LP. I have never received chips or the 2x XP.

If you run out of chips, they will give you more. I've only received the 2x XP twice. And both times I had 0 chips. Prizes are definitely not random.

Since the switch to the gift box, I haven't received LP in the daily gift - my daily gift boxes have been about 85% chips and 15% 2x XP. And every damn time I get 2x XP I have 0 chips. IMO that's a lazy programming flaw on PlayStudios' end (not that they care what people think about the game as long as there are still chip purchases being made).

I agree with this. Collectible cards seem to come a lot more frequently the higher you bet.

Yes I've gotten chips, but I get LP's more often. XP or collectibles on occasion. Chips usually are very small if I get them, a couple thousand, unless I'm at 0 chips -- then there's a decent chance I get a big amount (perhaps 30-80k). It definitely doesn't feel random to me.
