my brother just told me about the buy2get1 promo for the Caesars chain of casinos. we have a december reservation already. When i'm logged into my account the myTR website will not give me a promo price it says you've already booked these dates already call caesars if you want another booking. So they've basically stopped people from finding a better price online after they've booked. Two years ago i booked and cancelled a saturday nite 4 times as the price dropped from $220 down to about $125
I kinda see their thinking its not fair that people agree to a price and if it drops they can get that new price. But the opposites not true if a price goes up they can't expect u to pay the higher price. Anyways just a heads up if your using that website to book your room. I think you have to cancel a reservation before they will give u the price on a new reservation. LAME:grrr:

You can use the rate calendar function to see prices for dates you already have booked. Not sure if it will show promo prices though.

It has nothing to do with wanting to prevent you from seeing a better price or booking a better price.

When you're logged into your account, the prices shown are based on your play level. They don't want you booking multiple rooms at a price you earned via your own play. The same logic prevents you from seeing the promo price for dates you already booked.

Log out of your account, and you'll be able to see the 2-for-1 price.

People used to double book rooms all the time. They either cancelled their extra rooms late or used both reservations. Both situations led to those rooms being kept other paying customers. The fixes on the website to stop this keep you from seeing rates when you are booked. It is inconvenient to have to call but if you will end up with a better deal, they will take care of you.
