    My Trip Report

I saved the slot porn for last. First the general details of the trip.

My first three nights were at Delano. I was very disappointed with my room. I had a view of the parking deck. I was to lazy to move but it did start my trip off on a sour note. I've had much nicer rooms in the past and I'll be more specific about what I want the next time I book. Overall the room was clean and the staff at Delano continue to provide excellent customer service.

I spent the last two nights of the trip at Wynn. This was my second time at Wynn with my previous stay being a one night stay last April. I had a standard panoramic room. It was fine. Unfortunately my neighbor started making business phone calls at 5 am each morning. I was surprised that I could clearly hear him talking. It wasn't really a big deal. I'm an east coaster and am usually awake around 5 am Vegas time anyway.

The customer service at Wynn is simply amazing. I was able to check in before 11 am with no issue. The employees really seem to care about giving customers a great experience. I did however have a slightly negative experience with a Red Card boothling regarding my Freeplay. She was not willing to resolve the error despite me showing her a confirmation email. I was ultimately able to resolve the issue in another manner but her attitude kinda sucked.

I ate at the following places at Mandalay:

Burger Bar – I had the classic burger and the black and white milk shake. Both were very good. I’ll definitely go back and try another shake. It was a thing of beauty.

Dellas – I had breakfast here. I wanted eggs but no toast, meat and potatoes. The waiter happily substituted fruit and then when I mentioned I wanted to try a cronut brought out two for me free of charge. They were delicious but very very sweet. Everything at Dellas was very fresh and very good. I look forward to eating here again.

Hersey store – are you seeing a theme here – I love sweets. I rarely eat sweet things at home so I tend to really over do it while in Vegas. Anyway, I made my usually stop at the Hersey store and decided on the 4 cookies for $12. After sampling each one, l deemed three to not be “calorie worthy” as they were not very flavorable or fresh. I tossed all three after one bite. However, the carmel white chocolate chocolate chip cookie was amazing! Unfortunately this was the second time that I have found the sweets from Hersey to not be very fresh. I’ll not go out of my way to visit the Hersey store again.

Fluer – I had a late lunch at Fluer one day. I had their BLT which came with a side salad. The BLT was very good. The salad was boring. I ate it anyway. I needed the veggies to offset some of the sweets I'd been eating. Fluer is a great spot for people watching while eating.

Citizens – I had a late lunch here one day. When I tried to order a particular item from the menu (I can't remember what it was ) the waiter basically refused to let me order it telling me it was way to much food food for me. He suggested something else. I was tired and a bit off my game so I told him to bring me what he suggested. It was some kind of French dip thing. It was good but not what I wanted.

I ate at the following place at Wynn –

ZooZoo cracker deli – I had the loaded grilled cheese sandwich. I didn't like it. It was a combination of pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, and sauce. It sounded better than it tasted. I'll try something else next time. I also had a cookies and cream milkshake. It was awesome.

Terrace Point Café – I had breakfast here twice mostly because it opens at 6 am and I was awake anyway due to my chatty neighbor. The first day I had eggs with tomato slices substituted for the potatoes, and an order of cinnamon rolls. The second morning I had the vanilla Greek yogurt with granola and berries, with, of course, an order of cinnamon rolls. All the food as excellent.

Room service –I had the steak nachos ( I saw these on someone else's trip report and knew I had to try them) and cheesecake. The nachos were enough for about six people. They were excellent. The cheese cake was amazing!

    I saw two shows -

Beatles Love – I thought the show as great and I was really glad I took the time to see it . It was fun and very entertaining. However I was not very impressed with the Mirage. The casino seemed very cramped and super crowded. I don’t know if this is because portions are blocked off for construction or if it's always this way. There were dirty ashtrays and dirty glasses between the slots. I didn't play long before or after the show.

LeReve- I thought this show was amazing. Several times I gasped at the stunts. It was fast paced and extremely entertaining. My host set up a fabulous seat for me on the aisle in the fourth row. Several times throughout the show I was face to face with the performers. Before the show steam comes off the water and into the audience. It was kind of like getting a free facial. Overall, LeReve is the best show I've ever seen in Vegas.

Now the good stuff……. I had an amazing run on the slots…….

On day one I hit this bonus round beauty on my favorite Kitty Glitter machine. $3535.00

On day two I had this line hit that was just below the W2g level on 2x3x4x5x $1137.00

On day three the magic happened. I started with this Kitty Glitter bonus round hit $1300.00.

While waiting to be paid I hit this on Double Diamond $1250.00

After I was paid for that I hit again on the same machine $4000

I took $1000 and told myself I would stop when it was gone …….

Next was this DaVinci Diamonds line hit $1995.00

Next was a Wolf Run line hit $1140.00

And finally a Coyote Moon line hit $1320.00

All in all I hit these five handpays and an almost Handpay in about 90 minutes. It was so much fun!!!! As it was happening I kept thinking to myself – enjoy this. It will never happen again. When it was over I played very little for the rest of the day. I wanted to just savor my sweet victory.

Excess hundreds that didn't fit in my wallet (which was already stuffed with many many hundreds).

Day four I moved to Wynn and mostly lost – but I didn't lose my entire day's bankroll.

Day five I hit these two - Wolf Run $1650

and another Wolf Run on a different machine $1305 - this one was on my first spin on the machine.

So yes, for the first time in forever I had a winning trip. I'm determined that I'm not going to chase this. I know multiple handpays like this will never happen again but it sure was fun when it was happening.

This was my first time staying in Vegas for 5 days. I'm undecided if it was to long or just the right amount of time. I liked very much switching hotels as it feels like 2 separate vacations. My next trip will be with DH in January. He wants to stay at NYNY. I'd rather stay at Delano or Wynn. We’ll see who wins. Thanks for reading.

First, I have only looked at the pics so far...and I LIKE what I see! I will have to read the TR when I am not driving.

Second, looks like you play all my favorite slots. Now I definitely have to read your TR when I am not driving.

    Ditto what SIndustry said . . . . you play $1 Kitty Glitter . . . :nworthy:

    Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See why I don't play at Wynn? They keep tempting me with offers, and $400 FP last about 10 minutes . . . . .

Just read the TR, and it is just as good as the pics...AMAZING!

About hitting multiple handpays again...you will...believe me, you will. Just don't do what I often do...go on "Winner's Tilt".

I hope you have another trip soon...I can't wait to look over the pics first, then read all about the details!

Wow......what awesome slot hits!! Congratulations! I agree that splitting the trip between two hotels is like two vacations in one and I almost always do that now. I have added the steak nachos to my list of things to try on my next Whynn stay.

Congratulations on a winning trip! I loved all the slot and food porn. That is amazing that all those hits happened in less than two hours! Lady Luck was definitely on your side.

With the construction it's even worse than usual. But yeah that place seems cramped for sure. I love to stay there, but I hate to play there.

    Awesome hits Elf!!!

I do love Kitty Glitter! I've had great luck on them this past year. I love that the Wynn has so many multi denom machines that start at the .25 level. I gave the Kitty Glitter there hours of play this trip.

I'm a bit worried about a Winner's Tilt myself. A trip like this is how true degenerates are made! Of course I probably already am a degenerate. I certainly hope multiple hand pays happen again!!
