    Hello!
I'm Donald Green. Computer Repair for work, Musician/DJ by night, and I'm heading to Vegas for the first time since turning 21 in 2 days!!!!! I'm on the site for a few reasons. First, I just signed up for MyVegas (already up to 12k in about 36 hours) and was looking into good perks/rewards. I'm into Whiskey (another fact about me!) so probably going for the Monte Carlo Whiskey Tasting. I was also just looking for general info about the strip and good things to do on a budget.

My 'must do' every trip is to visit the Bellagio fountains and conservatory and to play a little craps there. It's the only 'must do' I have on the Strip. Next trip I plan on tasting the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity II in front of Caesars Palace; it constantly gets rave reviews.
As for drinking and gambling on a budget, you're in the wrong part of the city. Go downtown. You can easily walk from casino to casino. The games have better rules so your money should last longer and they have lower limits. In the evenings they have bands playing all around the Fremont Street Experience. You grab a free drink from a casino while you're playing and take it outside to listen to the bands. All so good and well within budget.

Appreciate the advice! We will definitely check out downtown while we are there. Frozen Hot Chocolate sounds incredible as well!!

Monte Carlo. Couldn't pass up the deal I found. Fingers crossed on the room, I've heard it is ridiculously hit/miss.

Hello, Donald! Welcome to the Board!
My favorite part about MC is that it's a relatively quick walk from the room elevators through the casino and out to the Strip.
Of course, the nice little hits in the casino added to my enjoyment...

    Have a great trip!

Things to do on a budget would be try and see the different casinos on the strip. Lots of moola spend building them.

Free Vegas advice if a girl asks if you wanna date she doesn't want to go to dinner with you. Haha
