  1. FINALLY MY TRIP REPORT (FIRST TRIP)

I figured I would come post this since this message board helped me plan my trip.

    Day 1

The flight out there was LONG and was filled with what I have always pictured Vegas being-a bunch of blue haired ladies from Jersey that all had their bags from hotels they stay at and what not. My friends and I were laughing so hard because it must have been a tour the plane was full of them. After finally arriving and paying a ridiculous cab fare to the Mirage I was in awe. What a beautiful place. Our room was up pretty high I think 19th and looked back over the dolphin habitat-I am not big on views so whatever- After gambling some we called it a night we were on east cost time and had a whole week to spare.

    Day 2

Bkfast Buffet Mirage-I found it so cheesy watching all the people have champagne with bkfast but when in Rome do as Romans I had a good buzz when I left the table. We got our first glimpse of the pool and was in awe. This pool is incredible hands down-the drink service was incredible we got hammered by 3:00. We even had some drinks sent over to us by women that could be out moms. That night we went to see EFX and the little guy that comes out before the show is hilarious-I was picked to do a skit with him-we had really good seats (when getting tix for this show as for the seats in the middle that are booths not tables) We ate at Emerils restaurant –really good food but spent way to much money the bottle of wines just kept coming) After this Studio 54 and home at daybreak.

    Day 3-5

All are a blur—day time by the pool-night time at C2K, RA, Ghost Bar, and some out of the way places that locals would drag us to. We partied non stop and I won $400 one night not bad for just sitting down and putting 2 dollars in. –oh yea I think I ate some --out of all the places to eat we ended up at Dennys at 5 in the morning (gotta get your grease fix )

    Day 6

Tourist thing ALL DAY from hotel to hotel and tourist trap to tourist trap. Enjoyed roller coasters the best! Stratosphere coaster 2 thumbs down-Big Shot 2 Thumbs up-Speed AWESOME RIDE! (they let us stay on 4 times) NYNY 1 thumb up 1 thumb down-

    Day 7

Ready to go home we did it all and had a great time doing it

    FAVORITES

    Fremont Experience
    Mirage Pool
    Bellagio Fountains
    C2K
Desert Passage (awesome clothes can be bought here)
    Speed Roller Coaster
Bellagio Suites (Incredible) we went to a party in one I felt like a high roller (hehe)

NOTE: I am totally against Segfried & Roy (however you spell their names) those poor animals!!! Just think about it would you like to be on stage with all that noise and commotion and kept in a small enclosure ALL day. If you love animals you shouldn’t support it.

This couple I talked to said the Lance Burton show was way better than Melinda whatever her name is.

Also, if you dress the part you are treated better at night clubs, casino, even checking in (I know most of you know that). note to travelers hawaiian shirts and dark socks with sandals will get you nowhere…

    I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

    Sounded like a fun trip!
What did you think of RA and ghostbar? Those are two of the nightspots we plan on checking out next week.

Ghost bar was very cool just a chill bar reminds me of your normal sofa bar in any city just way futuristic. The view is very cool. RA was fun and all but I just preferred the atmosphere of C2K and they played the best music RA was all real heavy trance. Maybe the line will not be as bad for RAIN because we didn't even attempt to get in there but I have heard a lot of good stuff about it-- we are planning on going there in September. Cover charge for all these places is around $20 sometimes we got in for $10. One of my friends just got back from vegas and she said the Dragon @ Mandalay was incredible "all the beautiful people were hanging out there" but I can't back that up. Have fun! [IMG]

    Mikel,
I had a large group of blue haired ladies on my last Vegas flight out of JFK. They were all congregating in the aisle the entire flight and it was hell trying to get to the bathroom and back. It made a long flight seem even longer.

Now come on fellas, were all going to be that age someday. (Hopefully) Actually, they are kind of cute. Most of them are widows or never married and this is all they have to look forward to. When I'm that age, I'm going to still party. Aren't you ? Just a thought. Have a good day.
