After 40 years of going to Vegas, I am going on my first solo trip Saturday. It feels so strange.

I actually have only flown solo once in my life, so this will be #2.

I had credits from two cancelled SWA flights to use up before they expired and my wife said since we are going to Vegas in April, July, Oct & Dec, go somewhere by myself.

Well that was an easy decision:poke: All my family lives in WI and I would be a duck out of water in a strange city not knowing anyone. Not that I have trouble striking up a conversation, but Vegas has what I enjoy.

Maybe I'll see some of you on Sunday at the MSS meetup.

Good for you! My wife almost never accompanies me (family obligations & she does not share my affection for VP).

I very much enjoy my time alone at the MSS & downtown.

Perhaps this is selfish, but I like to be able to decide when and where I will eat. Early dinner at Triple George on a Saturday to avoid the crowds? Why, yes! I think I will!

Prop myself up in bed and read the Las Vegas Review Journal & look out the window toward the Plaza as it gets dark? Sounds good!

Walk around FSE for an hour or two at night? Yes...if I wish.

Anyway, it can be quite decadent. Enjoy! Enjoy!

I love solo Vegas trips. My wife doesn't like Vegas much, so I almost always go by myself. It's great to just be able to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it. Have a great trip.
