Hello...the website told me to post here, so I'm doing it!

I'm 24, living in Wichita, and have been dealing table games for over a year now, including Black Jack, Roulette, the usual carnival games, and Craps. I'm young and single, so I see no better place to go right now in my life than to Vegas! I'm moving out there hopefully right after Thanksgiving with two other coworkers, as long as I can get a job first. I'm looking for any advice I could possibly get as to which casinos could be the best to work in/for, and of course any advice at all on blending in as a local would be great. The added fun part is I've never been to Vegas before, so the day I move out there will be the first time I ever see it! Nervous but excited at the same time!

Welcome! I'm not in the casino industry, nor am I a vegas local, so not going to be able to give you any advice. I don't know if it is a rumor or not, but I always heard, to get a dealer job at one of the big casinos on the strip, you have to know somebody. I say take a trip to Vegas, if you can, before your move and strike up some convos with the local dealers and check out some of the properties.I wish you the best of luck! If vegas doesn't work out, you can always keep going further west as California has a ton of casinos. there are 10-12 within 1.5 hours of where I live in CA.
