I recently had an issue booking an M Life offer that was sent to my linked player (sometimes I get them, sometimes they get them, there's no telling who will get them). This is the 3rd time it's happened, first Monte Carlo, then Luxor told me only the player who received the offer can book it, so the only way the linked player can use it is if they are travelling with the player who got the offer. I reached out to M Life via social media and they confirmed: "This is something new at a select few of our properties."

In the last 10 years, my linked player and I have always been able to share offers, and travel without each other using them. We like this because we don't always travel together, and it lets us keep our tier status and coming back more often between the two of us.

Just a heads up... so far Monte and Luxor were the two I've experienced that gave issues at check in. NYNY gave some issue at booking but ended up approving using the offer after some discussion. I haven't had any issue at Mirage or MGM so far.

GF just used an offer of mine at Mirage last week. Reservation was under my name, put a note in the account that it would be her checking in. Worked like a charm

Offers are based on individual play, so the offer generally doesn't carry over to another even if the accounts are linked. Linked accounts are great for increasing your tier level and sharing of EC's but you will notice that PointPlay is individual.

MLife properties are not obligated to share the offer from one card to another, linked or not; if it has happened in the past it is most likely due to the relationship you have with a host or casino that has done it. Most offers will have a player card account attached to it somewhere in the fine print.

The only offers we have been able to share between us are the corporate offers as they only show up on one account. I wonder if the offers being sent coincide with who has been to Vegas last?

Its been listed as a perk in the past, the sharing of offers. 10 years ago Luxor used to honor tha and now changed it.

I have no idea how they send out offers any more. At one point my other linked player was the "primary" card holder and got the offers, then it switched and I started to get them and was considered "primary" and now its changed again. I go to vegas more than my linked player, thereby playing more but she will still get the offers.

I thought I would mention it because this was news to me. My linked player didnt appreciate trying to check in at Monte then being told no and having to argue with them. It wasnt an issue when she booked the room, but when she checked in. Luxor flat out refuses to book an offer if its on the other player. And NYNY was difficult booking an offer but ended up doing it.

Odd and interesting, and I say this because all our offers say "this offer is for "name" MLife "account number" and are non transferable when emailed and through MLife website they have always said "non transferable".

Ours say that too but we've always been able to use one another's provided we were linked. Even when i booked the comp cruise, even though it came in my name, they would only book it if I was the primary card holder, which I wasnt at the time. They ended up honoring it anyway but refused that too at first.
