The other night my wife and I were out to dinner with friends and talking about our upcoming trip to Vegas. Like us, they have been to Vegas numerous times. Some how we got on the subject of the the show Las Vegas and started talking about what the Montecito would be like today. Some of our quotes or observations were the following: 1. "Hi folks, where are your from? Interested in a free show tonight?" 2. "Wow, this place has really deteriorated since it became a CET hotel." 3. "It is a shame they got rid of the giant waterfall so they could put in a Walgreens." I was never a big fan of the show but the thought of the post recession Montecito had me cracking up.
