Admitting I haven't done the neon, I would pick the Museum. Old signs are nice but...

They did a good job on the museum and if you love (like me) stories about the Mob, it's great.

I will admit I read so many books about the Mob before I went there that some of it was repetitive, but that's just me. If you don't have much knowledge or haven't done much research, then definitely the Museum. You could wander around there for hours.

2 blocks east of Main Street Station, just past the old Downtown Transportation Center on Stewart Ave. Easy walk.

I've done both. I have to agree that Mob Museum is better than Neon Boneyard if I had to say choose just one. But if you can, got to the boneyard at some point. I found it interesting and fun to see that stuff up close. The Mob Museum is good but does have some cheesy elements.

I would try to do both if you can. They are very different, and equally as interesting. The Mob Museum is, as others have pointed out, an easy two block walk from Fremont Street. The Neon Boneyard, while not far from Fremont, is near a sketchier part of town and I would not recommend walking there from Fremont. There is no taxi stand so if you take a taxi there you will have to have the number of a car service to call for your return trip. If you have a rental car, it would be much easier. The Boneyard is fascinating - to see those iconic signs up close is wondrous and the photos I have gotten from my trips to the Boneyard are beautiful.

I really enjoyed the Neon Boneyard! I haven't seen a coupon, but it's a non-profit.. and it's pretty reasonable anyways. DO make a reservation though before hand.

One more vote for the Mob Museum!! If you are at all interested in the Mob and it's history in Vegas you won't be disappointed. Plus, it's only a 5 minute walk from Fremont Street!
