wonder what this prevailing web rate room section is for????

seems to give no discounts on the rooms not sure why they bothered to put this as an addition to the mlife site.

has anyone had this listed before, it just showed up for me as of yesterday.

    thanks

usualy a web rate is 10% cheaper, now that could be good for people never really gamble but have mlife card it will get them to log in . just gets traffic to there website.

if your a a mlif established player it wont have an effect on you.

thats my guess and 2 cents

If a bottom tier member doesn't get any Tier Discount, then maybe it is just a way they can book through MLife.

Prevailing Web Rate means just that - same as on the hotel website without any discount code applied.

I sent them an email about a week ago because the rack rates they were using as the base for the Tier Discounts were not in sync with the hotel booking engines.

So you'd go to the hotel website and see the full rack rate as being something like

    150/150/200/250

And when you logged into MLife, went into the Tier Discount, the full rate they were showing would be

    170/170/230/280

So when they applied your Tier Discount against those inflated rack rates, you weren't really getting as good a price as you should.

Looks like they're back in sync now. Maybe displaying the Prevailing Web Rate boxes as offers on the MLife website is just some sort of test.

Good job on calling them out. wonder how long they got away with jacked up rack rate and then overinflated tier rates.
