I returned Sunday from 9 days at Signature, during which time I charged everything to my room. During past trips, I recall receiving tier credits immediately upon check-in for the room costs. This time, it's been 3 days, and I haven't received any credits for several thousand dollars worth of charges (need these tier credits to hit platinum . . .). Is this delay normal, or is a follow up with MLIFE warranted? Thanks in advance.

You say that you typically receive tier credits at check-in, but I assume you mean checkout?

Give it a couple more days. Then call.

Those should be applied almost immediately, from my experience.

I'd check into it. Give the MGM MLIFE a ring.

Whenever I've checked, I've gotten Tier Credits posted overnight for the previous day's charges, except sometimes for the final night/checkout day, which hit usually within a few business days of checkout. It usually takes a few days for the final bill to hit my credit card. Signature might be different, but I don;t know why. I'd wait until 1 or 2 days after the charge hits your card, then follow up if you don;t see the TCs.

So I finally called MLIFE and they ran through my activity, and claim my tier credits were, in fact, added . . . apparently on a daily bases. This still seems sketchy. I stared the strip with 98,000 tier credits, and ended with 168,000. So, over 9 days, I earned 70,000. My room charges, at check out, were just over $2,000, which is 50,000 tier credits right there. Which means, over 9 days, my play earned only 20,000 points? That seems low to me, as I played a decent amount of VP (including 100 hand at $5 a pop) every day. If I recall, the reader on the VP machines indicated my point total at the beginning of the trip was 2115 and finished at 7000. Does 20,000 points off play seem possible?

20,000 tier credits means you had 20,000 coin in.

If you did play 100-hand at $5 per pop, that's $2,500/pull (if you are explaining it properly and it's a $5 machine and not $1). Anyway, you are the best judge of how much you played. I'd recommend checking it daily on future trips, that's what I do.

How much of those $2,000 charges were tips or taxes? As far as I know, you don't get TCs from those so the actual number might be smaller than you think. Maybe.
