    Greetings....

I'm very close to Gold level with MLife, and purchasing two Cirque tickets will put me at that level. However, I'm planning on buying Beatles Love tickets on Thursday Sept 29 for Sunday Oct 2. However, everyone's tier levels reset on Sept 30.

I was concerned that my purchase may not get me the points in time, so I called the MLife desk (or so I was lead to believe when I was transferred). The person I talked to said the points for shows don't post until after the performance date. I got the feeling she was just guessing, and didn't really know.

Does anyone have experience with this and can shed some light? Also, the point of getting the tier credits fast is because upon Vegas arrival, I'd like to walk into the casino, buy the tickets, have the tier credits post, and then be able to check-in as GOLD! (And thus eligible for any room upgrades the Gold level brings)

    Thanks for any advice!

I've seen too many different accounts of this to be sure, but...

I've bought tickets to three shows (including Love twice), each time by calling the box office and giving them my MLife number and paying by credit card, well in advance, anywhere from two weeks to four months prior. Each time, they were will call tickets, I picked them up day of, or day before the show.

Each time, the credit charge was processed within a day of me calling, and I got the tier credits shortly thereafter.

I can't think of a single good reason why you shouldn't get the tier credits right after your payment is processed. They're paid for. There's no refunds. It doesn't matter whether you ever pick them up or not, you paid for them.

I don't know if you can charge tickets to your room, but that's how I would do it if you want to do it on Sep 29th. TCs for room charges should post overnight. If you buy them at the box office with a credit card, there's a chance they won't post until after the 30th.

I wouldn't even wait until then, I'd just call the box office and buy them today and then watch your tier credits.

I like the idea of buying them today. I wanted to try to use a MyVegas reward for BOGO Premium seats, so I'll have to see how to do that online. I had planned on redeeming the BOGO right at the MLife desk, then redeem the voucher at the box office.

I've had the opposite experience of Chuck with buying tickets and tier credits posting after picking up the tickets/seeing the show. I had a trip in August and I purchased my MJ One tickets at least a month or two ahead of time and nothing was posted to my account until I was on my trip. I can't confirm though if the tier credits posted when I picked the tickets up or the day I saw the show though.
