I just called Mlife VIP Services at Bellagio and attempted to make a reservations or Prime. The date that I wish to book doesn't have the time available I want on sites like Open Table. I thought I'd explore what the Priority Reservations means on the website. Once I was transferred to the dining reservations dept the operator was not aware of such benefits for Gold though I told her what it said on the website. Needless to say I struck out. Is there anywhere this supposed benefit is any good? What good are benefits listed if no one knows what I'm talking about?

I have nearly always had more luck asking to be connected directly to the restaurant, rather than the reservations personnel. The host/hostess generally has more availability and has the ability to book larger parties than the reservation personnel.

I'll call directly after about 5:30. I've got a reservation for the date I want, I just want one earlier. May just end up at Ocean Club in city center instead. Are they part of mlife?

The mlife card for preferred dinner reservations is pretty worthless. The other posts are correct, if you have a host go thru him or her. Sometimes, I try to walk in at MGM restaurants without a reservation and flash the old noir card. Sometimes that has gotten me immediate seating. Other times they still make me wait at the end of the line. There's really no rhyme or reason to it that I have been able to discern

Don't have a host yet. Most of my gold status has been due to spending. Maybe half of it was from gaming. Got on a crap heater a couple nights in a row at a $10 table and that seemingly got me a chunk of point. To my left was a Noir and the right a Plat. Maybe the pit boss bumped up my average bet on acident. I was only at 2 or 3x odds and placing 6 and 8. Was there was several hours each night. Considering my buy in it was a hell of a run.

Off topic but has anyone tried to use a concierge service like AMEX Centurion or Platinum Concierge Services at Vegas restaurants?

I've had good luck (Platinum) with priority reservations ... but I make them via VIP, not with the restaurant directly. Works great.

When Open Table is full, I call VIP services of the Casino the restaurant is located and I get my time I wanted, and the table I want.
