    I was just curious for those that at both properties....

    with CET its 5,000 to get Plat, 20k to get diamond w

    with MLife its 25,000 to get to Pearl, and 50,000 to Gold...

    so my question is lets use VP as an example... .say you put 1k in the vp machine.... and hit a few decent hands...i.e quads.....

    how does the two compare as points..... where you would maybe only earn 1000 TC where you may earn 6,000 Mlife credits....

    Does anyone know...Just curious ?:thumbsup:

    Trying to debate if I want to spread some love to MLife this time....

    The VP and slot earning rates for both TR and MLife are detailed on their respective websites, as are the various tier level requirements and benefits. From that info, you can easily calculate how much VP/slot coin-in it takes to reach a certain level at either property. Table games are obviously more difficult to accurately calculate since they depend on various factors and the exact formulas used are not known to the general public.

    The tier will get you the perks for that tier. That is it. You aren't going to suddenly get amazing comps because you are MLife Gold vs MLife Pearl. If there are some perks with MLife tiers that sound interesting then say so. Noone is going to be able to tell you that MLife Gold is amazing if they have no idea what perks you would use.

    As for comps on the 2 companies. First off, tier doesn't mean a thing. Your average daily theo is all that matters.

    CET and MLife to me are very similar in amount of comps. CET gives out free rooms easier. MLife gives out freeplay easier. MLife charges more for their rooms although I think it is warrented as the hotels are just nicer in general.

    ha it wasnt suppose to be hard... :)

    so earning 5000 TC at CET is the same as earning 5000 at MLife ?
    I wouldnt think that would be the case !?

    I will reply to your question. Then lets close this thread and put it out of it's misery.

    MLife

    Pearl = 25k points
    Gold = 75k points
    Platinum=200k points

    Total Rewards

    Platinum = 5,000
    Diamond = 15,000

    MLife VP tier points = cash in
    Total Rewards tier points = cash in / 10. Except for the new machines in Vegas that now require $25 per point.

    You know... I've been wondering this for quite a while.

    When I play VP, I watch my session points. It seems for every session point I earn while I'm playing, I receive 10 TCs through MLife, which is inline with your cash-in statement above.

    Is that right, or is my mind deceiving me?

    Thats what I figured.... Thats what I was trying to figure out

    if you had 2000 TC from CET what does that equate to in Mlife ?

    It's 10-1. So 2000 TC = 20,000 MLife

    That is right. The machines will show you your session points (e.g. base points). At MLife for VP: $10 coin-in = 1 base point = 10 TC = $0.01 PP = $0.01 EC. Before any tier multipliers on your PP and EC. If you keep track of your session points, you should be able to reconcile all your numbers at the end of a trip with whatever is showing up in their system.

    chess, as meyers said your 2000 TCs from CET (assuming VP play) would be equivalent to 20,000 TCs if you earned them at MLife. Just be sure to subtract any bonus TCs you received. MLife doesn't offer bonus TCs, but they offer bonus ECs and PP based on tier which is arguably much better.

    One small note to this I think is worth pointing out, $10 coin-in = 1 base point = 10 TC is only for MLife Properties in Vegas. If you do a significant amount of play elsewhere, it will hurt because I think you only get 2 TC per base point in Mississippi, and 1 TC per base point in Detroit. But then again, you sure as hell wouldn't want to play VP at Beau Rivage or Gold Strike in Mississippi anyway...lol
