Wondering what it takes now to get free room offers from Mirage.

I used to get comp rooms from MGM but switched over primarily to CET from play at a local CET casino so have stayed at CET hotels on the last few Vegas trips. I do still play some at MGM properties when we are there and the last few years that has been almost entirely at Bellagio and Aria because I like those casinos (partly because they had avoided the 6:5 blackjack stain) and we are usually mid-strip. With mlife I know your offers come more from places you have played - so most everything I get now from mlife is for Bellagio or Aria.

But I am not a high roller and the best offers I have had lately from mlife were 2 free nights at Bellagio and discounted rooms at Aria. We did do a 2 night stay at Bellagio last trip - but they wanted high rates for any additional nights so we moved over to PH for 2 nights that trip. It was not too bad because just across the street - but still would prefer not to switch in the middle of a 3 or 4 night stay. So we are back at CET (Bally's) for our next trip.

But I do like the MGM hotels and I also have a bunch of MyVegas points that are easier to spend when staying at an mlife property.

For that reason I am thinking about giving Mirage more play this trip instead of Bellagio or Aria. I play blackjack at $25 tables along with some video poker. While I am confident (hopeful) I could still find 3:2 $25 tables at Bellagio and Aria during the day - I am disappointed that they have added 6:5 tables and I think I can find $25 3:2 tables at Mirage also. Several years ago I stayed at Mirage on a comp and I gambled there a little bit on a trip last fall. I do occasionally get email offers from them for significantly discounted rooms but have not gotten a Mirage comp room offer in quite a while. Would a few hours of $25 blackjack a couple afternoons and some $1 video poker be enough to scare up a 3-4 night comp from Mirage? Or worded another way - would the same play that gets a 2 night comp offer from Bellagio be enough to generate a 3 or 4 night comp from Mirage?

Well ignore this I guess. Sale of Mirage eliminates this idea assuming that is true.
