My Mlife Spring Offer had rates for additional rooms for friends/family. Do these additional rooms with the lower rates count towards my comps? Or is it just a marketing tool to get additional players?

It will count about zero for comps. If you pay and your Mlife number is on the room account, you will get tier credits. But no comp value. All comps are based on gambled money.

I'm meaning if they give my friend a room rate of $29 - $49 a night because of my Spring offer...will they count the difference between the discounted rate and the regular rate as comps they have given me in advance.

Don't mean to hijack but have a related question.
Going to Las Vegas for NYE with two friends. Talked to host and he comped both of their rooms. One guy is rated and probably could have got several nights comped on his own.
The other guy is not rated.
Host comped both of their rooms going in.
So if the second guys play does not cover his room comps, will that come back on me?
Or is the host just doing me a favor because of my big 5 figure loss on last trip?

No, it's just a courtesy. It isn't costing the hotel anything and it isn't costing the casino anything.

In almost all cases, rooms up front will not come back to haunt you. On the other hand, if you PROMISE a certain level of play... well...
