Atlantis Reno posted their 2016 win totals, Westgate is next sunday. Giants the highest at 90 wins. It's an even year so they'll win the World Series this year. Cubs over will get hammered at 89, I'd expect it to go to 91 or 92. Mets 88. Cardinals 87.5. Pirates, Nats, Dodgers. On National League I like Cubs over, Reds under 71 (a 7 win jump?), Cards over (they'll figure out a way). American League Astros over 85.5, Rangers over 86, White Sox under 80.5, Mariners under 83.

I didn't pay much attention to the off-season this year. Did the Giants add anybody?

Dodgers lost their main pitcher. Looks like an under bet to me.

I normally don't like to wager on overs but it is tough not to wager the Mets over in that division.

Mets over was looking really good until Meija had to juice up again. Kicked out of the league at 26.

I'd go reds under, cards under and mariners over personally. Maybe over for the doggies too.

Interesting on the Rangers at 86. Rangers had 88 last year and didn't have Darvish all season and only had Cole Hammels for a month or so. Darvish should return late May or so.

I'm an astros homer but the over is real possibility but i don't know how large I'd go on that number. Wish I were in town before the season got started. Still might make an april bet on the Astros to win the pennant and WS.

Reds under Cardinals over. Cardinals have covered that number the last few years besides Heyward spit on the fire calling them
    old. It will go over.

Does anyone know whether or not the Vegas books will allow a parlay bet for MLB over/under win totals?
If so, I will be placing a 4-bet parlay of 'overs'.

I have never asked with regard to MLB, but the MGM books said no a couple years ago when I tried to do the same with NFL win totals

    Opinions wanted:
Looking at 2015 losing streaks of 8+, there were a total of 28 in the 2015 MLB regular season.
Between the Reds, Rockies & Braves, they had 19 of those 28 losing streaks.

While I realize that "past performance is not an indicator of future results", it occurs to me that most teams never have losing streaks of over 5 games in a season.

So - I'm wondering what y'all think of a 'martingale' plan to money-line bet on any team with a 5-game losing streak, except for Reds, Braves & Rockies?
It sure seems unlikely that other teams would go through a losing streak of more than 8 in the 2016 season.
So - when a team loses 5 games in a row, you bet on them to win until they do, doubling any losing bet.
Team loses 5, bet $100 on them to win. They lose 6? Bet $200. They lose 7? Bet $400. They lose 8? Bet $800.
It's a $1500 total wager if they actually lose 8 in a row... $1500 to win about $100...
...but think about it this way: Would you lay $1500 to win $100 on a team to win at least 1 game over their next 9? I would.

Interesting idea. You know the risks of martingale. Do you have stats in how often a team had five, six, and seven game losing streaks?

Mets and Yankees over. They low-balled both teams unless the odds makers know something we don't.

Royals Over - easy money again. made a killing last 2 years on the over and the keep putting their over/under so low. Don't think I do the World Series bet on them again this year, but should be an easy over again.
