This line surprises me. I have to take it.

I thought his line would be SF -110.

San Francisco pitcher Madison Bumgarner has been throwing batting practice in his starts the past two months of the season and playoffs due an issue with his pitching mechanics. Several reports say that recently he has has corrected this issue in bullpen sessions.

Due to his recent horrible starts this line has some value in San Francisco.

Detroit's lineup is average against left handed pitchers. Barry Zito only gave up 1 run in 6 innings last night.

I respect Detroit pitcher Doug Fister, but the Giants hitting is white hot.

It is tempting to take San Francisco for the full game because the Tigers bullpen is awful right now but I have learned over the years that it is less risky wagering only on starting pitchers.

First five innings > San Francisco +110 vs. Detroit (The Westin/William Hill)

Analysis was spot on. Still nothing to show for my efforts.

    2012 MLB Postseason record 0-2-3 (-2.4 units)
