Another line I do not understand.

Detroit and Boston are about a push offensively with maybe a slight edge to the Boston.

The postseason is all about starting pitching which is where Detroit has a huge edge.

The Tigers will have likely Cy Young award winner Scherzer, a hot pitcher and form Cy Young award winner in Verlander, ERA leader Sanchez, and a very good #4 in Fister.

Boston? An excellent pitcher in Bucholz, an overrated John Lester, and two used up pitchers in Peavy and Lackey.

HUGE starting pitching advantage for the Tigers.

    The wrong team is favored.

Being from Boston dont disagree about Detroits starting pitching, just not a Huge difference but a slight edge, Bostons staff does have former Cy Young winner, a few no hitters and big game experience under their belts as well, Bullpens may decide this series and it should be a good one, We just need to hit Farrell on the head with a shovel if he decides to pitch to Cabrerra in ANY situation where he can do damage. (see Evan Longoria's game 3 at bat) why he pitched to the only guy who can hurt him in that situation with a 3 run lead and first base open with 2 out is unexcuseable :vomit:
