Anyone here have bottle service at Mix before? It will be me and 2 of my friends (24-25 yr old males).....I've found their pricing to be at 300-500 for most bottles. We are actually looking for a little more relaxed of a place to get bottle service outside of the nightclub scene....not really into getting hassled for extra crazy tips and all. Any etiquette to bottle service at lounges (NOT nightclubs)....any tips, etc.

    Thanks!

I have not checked for awhile, but I think a year ago they were running right in the range you are talking. If I remember correctly it also worked very close to the way the clubs do it with the automatic gratuity, etc.

Sorry new to this and just starting my research on it.

3 couples headed to mandalay later this year and we are entertaining the prospect of getting bottle service at MIx.

Where do we find the menu/prices? Internet was no help

Who do we contact to arrange bottle service? Concierge/casino host?

Can we guarantee an outside table?

What are the expectations for tips? Are there extra fee's? How much do they run?

What are the mixer's? Do you mix them yourself or are they made for you?

Any help is very appreciated, thank you

even though it might more laid back , u still have all the add on tips , figure around 30 percent of ur final price is a good way to judge, 20 percent gratuity , tax , handshack bribe for security or what ever, usualy if u figure 30 percent of the final bill u will be fine.

One thing to bear in mind is that there's been talk of closing Mix and replacing it as part of the Delano renovation/conversion. Depending on when you're going, that space may or may not be open, so you might want to have a backup plan.

There is no reason whatsoever to get bottle service at Mix. We were there on a Sat night and every table was empty. Also, there is a ton of construction going on with THEhotel being converted to The Delano. I would look elsewhere, especially given your age.

I have never been a fan of bottle service at mix, unless your going for a business thing. Mix is good to have a few drinks, take some pictures and leave. If you are looking for a spot to start early Hyde at Bellagio is good as well as Ghost bar is getting cheaper. One of my new favorites is Fizz at Caesars. It depends on what you are wanting to do?

If you're looking for booze and view at Mandalay Bay I'd recommend going up to the Foundation room at the top of the other tower. No construction, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a solid bar.

If you want to be extra careful call to concierge and get on the list. There is never a cover for Mandalay guests.

Thanks dutchvelvet, do you know if the foundation room charges a cover for guests of Mandalay guests? My buddy is staying at Luxor would he need to be listed on my room to avoid the cover? Would he need to be on the guest also?

If you have a few ppl, it is VERY easy to get a B1g1 there. Also, their happy hour menu is real good food (small plates).

If i remember right If you go during happy hour there is no cover at all. If you go later I'd try to get on the list and then just talk your friend in from there. Even if you got to pay cover it will be WAY cheaper than bottle service.

P.S. The food up there is really good. Try the truffle mac and cheese.

Yes, no cover during happy hour but they really have no clientele besides a few tables scattered here and there. The food is great considering they are basically small plate servings.

For bottle service during the "club time" it is very easy to get a B1G1 (buy a bottle get one free). Just make sure it is equal to what you are paying or else they want you to "try" a new brand. Sent many bottles back that were supposed to be equal.

Yes, Mix will give you buy 1 get 1 free but I'd still avoid. Go for a drink and view then scram to a better place bc other than the view it's nice to be in a place that has good crowd energy and music and I didn't see that the one time I went on a Saturday night
