We're booked in a tower room for our upcoming trip. I'm hoping to get the $20 trick to work for an upgrade to a suite, but it looks like there aren't any available online. Booooo. Anyways. What is the best view to ask for? I've requested a strip view, but is it better to look north or south, if I have an option? Does anyone have photos that compare the two views?

If in regular room: Tower deluxe room facing the pool please! It's now called something different, but they will know what you mean. If already in a tower room, then ask for a 1bdrm tower room suite or a penthouse suite. Essentially, always seek the next level up, don't be too greedy.

I personally prefer the pool view rather than the "strip" view. The pool view faces the real strip with Paris, Ceasars, Planet Hollywood in the background. The other side (strip view) faces the volcano (which is better seen from the valet pickup area anyhow) and also the Palazzo/Venetian, casino royal...

Pls post results in 20$ thread when you are back.
