How is the VP in the bar around Mirage's SB?

In a word, crowded. I can't tell you anything more than that as I've never been able to find an empty seat there.

In terms of atmosphere, yeah it's crowded like snidely said during sporting events. I find that sad because they have generally garbage paytables. Similar to most CET strip bars (exception: TAG Lounge at Linq).

Many of the units are a progressive that require a 10-quarter bet to get a full pay royal. Best games are 30 (all quads)/6/5 Bonus (96.18% before prog.) and 7/5 DDB (95.71% before prog.)

Also please check my sticky to see other options for bartops in Vegas. I will do my best to update some of the list in a couple of weeks! But it looks like you'll be there when I am!

Garbage pay tables as noted above. Also, the bar machines are frequented by hookers at typical times of the day.

Ummm....I'm thinking this is a good thing, right?

The pay tables are not that good but the progressives get incredibly high sometimes which improves that. My wife hit what is basically a 50 cent game (because you have to play 10 quarters instead of 5) for $6800 some years back and the bartended said they get so high because they see RF's hit all the time and people are playing 1 or 2 coins in just to get a free drink. I've never understood doing that....:poke:

The highest I have ever seen it is about $3800. Game is still only about 98% in that state though. :( It was about $2600 last week (where I usually see it when walking by).

With the new voucher system, there will be less 1-2 coin players now because they'll never get a voucher. Also you have to put in your players card for a comped drink. I saw that run one dude off.

The voucher made its way to the SB bar now? Wasn't there in June. That sucks.
