I'm a sports book newbie. The last time I was at the mirage I noticed seats that had people's names on a plaque. Why do certain seats have those?

These are for horse bettors who are daily guests or high rollers who are in town. If you plan on betting every day while you are there, and have an account set up, I think you can get a seat reserved, too.

I figured it was for high rollers but I was just curious.

Sorry about posting the question twice. Newbie mistake.

If you want a seat reserved for a weekday to bet horses you can do that. If you want a seat reserved for NCAA tourney, NFl sunday or major events you better have a history of 10k+ bets at the Mirage or a casino host who will reserve one for you.
