Just curious what readers prefer at Mirage? Pool view? Strip view? Certain floors? I will be checking in July 8th. Would prefer a Pool view and high floor. Not sure what is considered an upgraded room (Resort, Tower, etc) or what Mirage calls better than average rooms. Am booked under an MLIFE promo rate and currently high Pearl status. Any tips of what to ask for are appreciated. 16 days and counting to start a much deserved 9 night trip split between Mirage and CP! :)

If you ever like to nap after dark don't get a volcano view room or you'll wake up when it goes off.

This isn't the complete hierarchy of rooms at Mirage, but it's close enough to get you started when asking for a free upgrade. You can usually get an easy upgrade one level higher, but some times can get up to a Tower room without breaking a sweat.

Also check out the $20 Trick section for people's success or failures on getting an upgrade.

I agree with Shock. When we are at the Mirage we just ask for upper floors, poolside view close to the elevators but not next to them. They have taken care of our request each and every time we have stayed with them. Oh and we have never had to pay for the upgrade. Good luck and have fun!!!!

Ask for something close to the elevator.

I took my one for the team and got the LAST room on the floor (furthest from the elevators). When my host asked me why my play was lower than other trips I told him "You should've seen where they put me!!!".

I get the feeling that I'm in the minority. Anywhere I stay I love to be farthest away from the elevator as possible.

I just got back from staying last night at The Mirage. I had asked for a quiet room because I had to get up at 7 am. He put me in the Resort King on 14th floor, ALLLL the way down at the very end of the hall. It was a corner room overlooking the top of the rest of the roof of the resort, facing TI/Wynn.. Since it was basically in the corner it had two outside walls, meaning there were two windows. It was very quiet if that is what you're looking for. Bit of a trek from the elevator though.

    Room #14-085.
I am Sapphire with MLIFE and paid $47 for the night.
